Whole Body Vibration Exercise & Therapy

Whole Body Vibration Therapy

What is It?

Vibration has been used for therapeutic purposes since the late 1800s. Presently, vibration therapy is used by NASA to help prevent muscle loss in astronauts, and it is becoming more widely available to the general public.  Twinsfeather makes it available for those interested in trying it for themselves.

Whole body vibration can be life-changing in its effects on the nervous system and brain.  Immediate effects include rapidly rising levels of two neurotransmitters, serotonin and nor-epinephrine, that have positive effects on mood and energy levels.  Serotonin is a neurotransmitter in your brain that contributes to sounder sleep and feelings of mastery, pleasure, and relaxation. The benefits of whole body vibration therapy are obtained by lying, sitting, or standing on a machine that is supported by a vibrating platform. With vibration machines, frequency and amplitude are adjusted to meet the specific needs of each client.

Some Benefits Include

· INCREASE BONE DENSITY
· WEIGHT LOSS
